Second, check to see if your mills has a anti cheat lever under the horizontal pay levers. in most machines, the 'fifth click' (payout release) should happen a second or two after the vertical detectors. if the timing bar is releasing the slides before the vertical pay fingers are activated, the pressure from them can prevent the pay fingers from moving. the horizontal pay fingers should have no tention on them except for the springs when the slides are being held back. first, make sure the vertical payout fingers are detecting the pay discs and moving the horizontal pay fingers appropriately BEFORE the slides are released by the timing bar.
